Repair Festival Aotearoa: Clothing Repair Workshop (Saturday 21st September)
GOLD COIN DONATION!
Let's celebrate Aotearoa's first Repair Festival, where we collaborate and learn about fixing and mending our clothing, giving it a new lease of life.
Bring along any garments in need of a simple repair and learn how to fix them yourself!

Juli's group sewing lessons are a fun, practical, and safe place to learn the basics of sewing here on the Kāpiti Coast.
They are suitable for beginners through to intermediate sewers. Everyone, of all ages and genders, is welcome to attend.
Everything is provided for the class; just bring yourself and your clothing in need of repair.
The sewing lessons will be held at Juli's workroom, 8 Main Road, Waikanae.
This class will be on Saturday 21st September from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
-
Please note, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you'd like to exchange your lesson for another date or request a refund. This is so that we can keep our class sizes small. We cannot give refunds or exchange one class for another if we are not notified with at least 24 hours to spare.

Our goal is to empower our community to repair and upcycle their clothes, reduce textile waste in our beautiful local environment, and harness collective change in the way we think about fashion.
We would like to thank Repair Festival Aotearoa New Zealand for their dedication and work in this space, and for making this event possible.
