Sewing Lesson: Bring Your Own Project (September 14th)
  • Sewing Lesson: Bring Your Own Project (September 14th)

Working on your own special sewing project?

Or do you have something in mind, but aren't sure where to start?

Bring your work along to my class for some expert help and advice. You'll also have the support of a friendly group of local sewers all working on their own projects too.

Juli's group sewing lessons are a fun, practical, and safe place to learn the basics of sewing here on the Kāpiti Coast.

They are suitable for beginners through to intermediate sewers. Everyone, of all ages and genders, is welcome to attend.

Everything is provided for the class; you just need to bring yourself and your project that you're working on.

The sewing lessons will be held at Juli's workroom, 8 Main Road, Waikanae.

This class will be on Saturday 14th June from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.

Please note, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you'd like to exchange your lesson for another date or request a refund. This is so that we can keep our class sizes small. We cannot give refunds or exchange one class for another if we are not notified with at least 24 hours to spare.

Our goal is to empower our community to repair and upcycle their clothes, reduce textile waste in our beautiful local environment, and harness collective change in the way we think about fashion.

We would like to thank Kāpiti Coast District Council for helping make our subsidized sewing lessons possible through the Waste Levy funding scheme.
