Our second clothes swap event will be held in or workroom on Saturday November 8th from 3pm to 5pm!
Bring up to 10 items of clothing that you are wanting to swap to our workroom at 8 main Road Waikanae, between 1 & 4pm on Friday, November 7th OR Saturday November 8th between 10 & 12
You are welcome to bring in shoes, bags & accessories if you wish
Please check all your garments to ensure they are in great condition (no colour fading, yellowing, marks or too much wear ) for their new owner.
We will check over each item to make sure each item is not damaged or stained.
We will give you a card for each item you have brought in to swap.
You will then use the card during the clothing swap event to 'buy' your chosen items you wish to take home
When everyone brings clothes that are in great condition, everyone leaves with a collection of “new” clothes to love and look after!
We have changing rooms & mirrors if you are wanting to try anything on.
Our goal is to empower our community to repair, recycle and upcycle their clothes, reduce textile waste in our beautiful local environment, and harness collective change in the way we think about fashion.
