The final few
2024 is going to be a big year for me, and I'm so excited to get stuck in. My creativity will be heading in a new direction (think fewer homewares/accessories and more clothes!), but still with a focus on using beautiful, salvaged textiles wherever possible. I'm also excited to further explore and share my passions and values; what drives me in my work. Gardening, organic food, body positivity, human rights, and animal rights are just a few things that I want to dive into more online.
In saying all this, I have a few last things I'd love to clear out to start 2024 afresh. We have children's aprons, silk scrunchies, upcycled upholstery clutches and purses, a recycled denim shoulder bag, and some dresses. All of these are heavily discounted in the sale section - grab a bargain!
Road issues
On the 16th of January 2024, work to install a clip-on shared path across the Waikanae River Bridge will begin. The southbound lane will close, with the detour being the expressway. My workroom at 8 Main Road, Waikanae, will still be open and accessible throughout the construction period.
Fabric sale success
Thank you so much to everyone who came along to my monster fabric sale in early December. There was an amazing turnout and it feels so good to have cleared some space for new projects. We're continuing the sale on from my workroom until it's all gone! I'm also adding new fabric, haberdashery, and buttons all the time . . . so do pop in and see if you can find a treasure or three!
