July Newsletter

June has been such a busy month, both in the workroom and over at the Eco Friendly Style Collaborative!

Several new local makers have now joined us at the Eco Friendly Style Collaborative, and it has been so exciting to see our store change and grow with each new addition. We now also stock beautiful babywear by Polly and Maks made locally in Ōtaki! Be sure to come and check us out.

On a more personal note, June marked the day when I finally got my own office space for the very first time in the 20+ years that my Juli Hunter brand has existed. This felt like a big accomplishment, and I'm so happy to have a dedicated space out of the hustle and bustle of the workroom to get things done.

Happy July,

It wouldn't be a new month without a new selection of dungarees, would it? Here we have a few new pairs in cosy wool (caramel stripe and midnight plum), as well as some old favourites that are back in stock (teal leaves and floral splash).

Our sewing lessons have been going swimmingly! Upcoming classes include making your own skirt and clothing repair for July, and making your own top and trousers for August. Each lesson is only $59 and includes everything you need!

There are plenty of merino gloves left if you're feeling the chill this winter! All made lovingly on the Kāpiti Coast. Find them online or in-store at the Eco Friendly Style Collaborative.

We now also offer contactless zip replacement and hemming services. All you need to do is book online here, send us your garment(s), and we'll send them back once they're ready. It's easy!

Here are a few recent photos of the Eco Friendly Style Collaborative from this past month. We have so many new, gorgeous wares in stores and love being part of the local Mahara Place community. We're at 6 Mahara Place, Waikanae, if you'd like to pop in and say hi!
