Our monster fabric sale

We're having a huge sale on Saturday 9th December with textiles, haberdashery, sewing machines, and loads of buttons! Come join us, grab a bargain, and be sure to show us what you make with your newfound treasures. It'll be in my workroom (8 Main Road, Waikanae 5036) from 10 - 2. Coffee and EFTPOS will be available. Can't wait to see you there!

The end of a chapter

It is with great sadness that we are closing the doors to our beloved Eco Friendly Style Collaborative. We’ve been trading since January this year and have had a beautiful year. Providing a retail space for our clever local makers has been an honour, as has getting to know our lovely community.

Sadly, however, our passion and dedication to supporting NZ-made isn’t enough. The numbers aren’t viable for us to continue trading, and so we are looking for someone to take over the lease. Our store is at 6 Mahara Place, Waikanae, just across from the op shop. If you’re interested or would like to know more, please contact me (info@julihunter.com).

In the meantime, we’ll continue trading. If you’re on the hunt for some gorgeous, NZ-made Christmas gifts (and clothing, jewellery, children’s wear, art, accessories, and more!), please pop in and see us. We’d love to say hi!

New in-store

New in-store (and online), we have several new pairs of the Juli-Pant in fun colours and playful prints. This purple floral pair is my personal favourite!

Our light and flowy Seonaid dresses have been popular lately with summer fast approaching. We have the oat and almond check colourways if you prefer neutral tones, as well as mint or red check for a brighter alternative.

A very special piece that I've been working on is this autumn patchwork dungaree dress. It's made from upcycled denim in beautiful shades of fall. A unique piece!

Last but not least, we have plenty of good gift ideas hiding in our sale section at the moment. Zero-waste aprons are now only $50 (usually $99), silk scrunchies are $9 (usually $19), and purses are from $9.

Free fabric scraps

We always have bags of free fabric scraps available in my workroom for anyone who would like them. They're perfect for kids, craft groups, or the keen upcycler! If you're after one, just pop in and see us at 8 Main Road, Waikanae. We love keeping these textiles out of landfill.

My biggest thank you

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us this year. We appreciate you hugely! Wishing you a holiday season of love and joy.

See you in 2024,
